We ventured to the suburbs to tackle our largest flip (in terms of both size and money invested) to date! We fell in love with the potential in this beast of a house. The huge primary suite offered a separate little bonus room that we were able to turn into a home office space and closing off a shared closet between two of the guest bedrooms allowed us to turn one into a second private suite (with it’s own walk-in closet and bathroom). Removing some funky half walls created a more open-concept in the living area and removing the popcorn ceilings made the house feel SO MUCH MORE MODERN! The pool needed a full overhaul and that ended up being far more expensive then we hoped and we splurged on the kitchen and laundry room but in the end it paid off when we sold above asking and closed on our first $1 million+ flip!
